I am so impressed with my first dry DevaCut experience by Renee at Hair by Cara, and I love my cut. I was nervous because I have never had my hair cut dry before, but I’m so, so happy! I took a lot of hair off and no one tried to talk me out of loving off 6 inches of hair. She told me some great styling tips and I got a lot of education for the reasonable price of a cut. Can’t wait to go back!

Cara gave me a great experience. I have curly hair and I have been so scared to cut it due to a horrible past experience at a different hair salon years ago. She transformed my hair with just my first visit and I couldn’t be happier. Cara is very knowledgeable and very passionate about what she does. She explained everything to me from cutting my hair, to washing it, to styling it. I really appreciated how comfortable she made me feel and how she answered any and every question I would ask her along the way. Her salon is clean and well kept as well. I HIGHLY recommend Cara for your hair needs. I have already recommended to her friends and family, that’s how great she is. I look forward to future visits to her salon for my curly hair needs. I’ve had my hair cut by Cara three times now. Hands down the best stylist I’ve seen for my curly hair. I waited a year to see her again because I was out of state and didn’t want to bother with anyone else. I’ve shown her hairstyles and she’s honest with me if I won’t achieve that look with my hair type. Prices are reasonable and she’s enjoyable to talk to. Definitely recommend.

Cara is a very knowledgeable and experienced stylist for us curly girls. It’s not easy to find someone who knows and understands the cutting and styling needs of curly hair. She was professional, fun and personable. She did an amazing job both styling and diffusing my hair which is not an easy task!! The cleaning up of my ends and shortening of the existing layers added great volume and my hair looks much healthier. I will definitely be going back for my next curly hair cut! Thank you Cara!

I recently saw Cara for the first time, and she gave me an amazing hair cut. I was visiting my mother in New Haven, and I really needed a hair cut. When we drove by Cara's salon, I noticed a sign in her window mentioning Devacurl. I have really curly hair, so that pulled me right in. I didn't know what I wanted, so Cara walked me through what she was doing. I am thrilled with the results!.So much better than my recent hair cuts in New York, where I live. She knew just what to do with my curly mop, shaped it so that it totally flatters my face. And she showed me how to enhance the curls, instead of the frizz. She also gave me some advice that I've incorporated into my hair care routine. Can't recommend Cara highly enough, she brought out the curly girl in me!

I had an amazing experience with Cara! This was my first curly cut and my hair has never looked and felt better. I struggled with styling my hair and she really took her time to show me how to style my curls and brought them to life. I went from hating my curls and being self conscious to absolutely loving them! I highly recommend Hair by Cara to any curly hair girly wanting to bring their curls to life :)

I have been going to get my haircut by Cara for years. She is the only one I trust to cut my hair, as I usually have long very curly hair. I need to get as many haircuts as I can before she retires which hopefully will not be anytime soon. She is very accommodating and listens to what I want to try with my hair. I am grateful I found Cara.
